Clave de Sol will fill the room with malagueñas, tangos,The Duo of Clave de Sol, Photo by Dennis Williams habañeras, zapateados, sarabandes, gigas, minuets, romanzas and sicilianos.

Our music is inspired by the passion of Latin dances and the elegance of the Baroque era. Our musical selections juxtapose ancient, old world violin and harpsichord duets with popular tango music that got its start only about 100 years ago in the new world. The repertoire includes Albeniz, Granados, Sarasate, Piazzolla, de Maza, Scarlatti, Bach and Handel.

Slide into the passion of tango. Dance with the gypsies. Contemplate the universe as Bach and Handel experienced it.
 

We will perform either in the background or at center stage.
